Setup
- Each player starts in spring with two workers and five cards.
- A shared board offers gathering locations and events.
How to play
- On your turn, place a worker, play a card, or prepare for the next season.
- Preparing for a season brings back all your workers and adds new ones.
- Some critters can be played for free if the matching construction is already in your city.
Scoring
- Points printed on each card in your city, fifteen at most.
- Prosperity tokens, achieved events and board objectives.
End of the game
- The game ends when every player has finished autumn and has no more workers to place.
Frequently asked questions
What do you do on your turn?
A single action out of three: place a worker on a location to gather resources, play a card into your city, or prepare for the next season (take back your workers and gain new ones).
How do you play a card?
By paying its cost in resources, or for free if the linked construction is already in your city. The city is limited to fifteen cards: filling it wisely is the whole challenge.
What is the difference between constructions and critters?
Constructions let you play their matching critters for free. Pairing them saves a huge amount of resources.
What are seasons?
The game goes through four seasons. "Prepare for season" returns all your workers, adds more, and triggers harvests. Each player moves at their own pace: some reach winter while others are still in spring.
How does the game end?
When a player has passed autumn (the last season) and has no more workers to place. Count the points from cards, events, objectives and tokens.
