Terms of use
Marquoir is a free service run by one person. Here is what it offers you, what is asked of you in return, and what is not guaranteed.

The service
Marquoir brings together game rules and a score counter. It is free to use and requires no account: your games are saved on your device. Using the site or the app means accepting these terms.
Game rules
They are written with care, but a traditional game has no official text: variants change from one region, family or table to another. No accuracy is guaranteed, and when the table disagrees, house rules decide. A button on every game page lets you report a mistake.
Your account, if you create one
- It is optional and lets you find your games on your other devices.
- You choose a username and a password, which you keep confidential.
- You are responsible for what happens on your account; let the publisher know if you think someone else is using it.
- You can delete it at any time from Settings → Profile. Everything linked to it is then erased.
What you send
Player names, game night names, report messages: you agree not to include unlawful content, insults or sensitive data about other people. A game follow link shows names and scores to anyone who opens it; share it only with whom you choose, and turn it off when you’re done.
The publisher may delete clearly unlawful or abusive content, and close the account behind it.
Availability
The service runs on a personal server: it may be interrupted for maintenance, failure or network outage, without notice or any commitment on duration. That is also why Marquoir works offline once opened, and why exporting your data is offered in Settings — keep a copy.
Liability
The service is provided as is, free of charge. The publisher cannot be held liable for a miscounted score, an inaccurate rule, a game lost with your browser’s data or a service interruption. Nothing excludes liability for gross or intentional misconduct.

Changes and governing law
These terms may change with the service; the update date at the top of the page is authoritative. They are governed by French law. For any question: benjamin@marquoir.fr.
