Setup
- Each player takes on a spirit, with its board, its starting powers and its presence on the island.
- Each player gets a section of the island; the Dahan, the island's people, are placed on it.
- The Invader deck, the Fear cards and the Blight supply are prepared.
How to play
- Each round, the spirits grow: they gain Energy, spread their presence or reclaim their cards.
- They then play powers, Fast ones before the Invaders act or Slow ones after.
- The Invaders Ravage, Build then Explore, according to the Invader cards.
- A Ravage that is too strong adds Blight to the island.
- Frightening the Invaders raises the Terror Level, which makes the victory condition easier.
Scoring
- No score is required: you win or lose together.
End of the game
- Victory when the condition for the Terror Level reached is met.
- Defeat if Blight overruns the island, if a spirit loses all its presence, or if you must draw from an empty Invader deck.
